On Wednesday, April 23, SFD Chief David Surozenski led a team of 15 firefighters and 2 EMTs to the Suffolk County Fire Academy in Yaphank for the ever-exciting Flashover drill. This drill provides excellent experience for firefighters as they witness the potential of flashover in a burning building. This remains one of the more exciting trainings at the Academy and is highly recommended for interior firefighters.
