On Thursday, July 18th, many SFD members responded to Station Two to participate in a Suffolk County sanctioned Heavy Rescue / Vehicle Extrication exercise. This challenging evolution involved nine victims and one dog in various states of entanglement in and under a mini school bus and two automobiles, including one car that was on fire. Those who attended all learned something and everyone had a good time on a hot, humid summer evening. Feed back at Headquarters to cap off a positive experience.
