Monday, November 27, brought another of our highly successful monthly trainings led by J.R. Rumpler and David Surozenski. This session was devoted to familiarization with the several heavy rescue tools carried on 8-4-3, 8-4-2 and 8-4-4. Targets were a mini-bus donated by Sunrise Buses and Volvo by Helen Rosenblum. Despite a pronounced chill in the air, much was learned and a good time had by all. Please add these trainings to your personal schedule as they are a rewarding and valuable part of your membership in the Southold Fire Department. Every firefighter, old and new, is encouraged to attend.
