On Tuesday, June 20th, Southold FD hosted an Advanced Vehicle Extrication Class under the tutelage of SCFA instructors. Thanks to Carmine's inexhaustible supply of distressed vehicles, SFD's very heavy dummies and Chief David's creative thinking a realistic scenario was concocted requiring the use of many of our extrication tools. Lessons were learned and a good time was had by all. Always be sure to do a 360 and look in the trees.
